The Habistat Pulse proportional thermostat High range is the best solution for controlling Ceramic heat emitters and heat mats. This Pulse proportional thermostat provides constant heat and is very accurate.

The difference with the Habistat Pulse proportional thermostat Classic is the temperature range. This thermostat (High Range) runs from 26 to 40 degrees Celsius. A normal thermostat switches on at full power until a certain temperature is reached and then switches off completely until the temperature has dropped below a certain temperature and then switches on again and so on. Therefore the temperature is not stable and that is not desirable.

The Habistat Pulse proportional thermostat provides a constant current to the heat source, giving you very minimal fluctuations in temperature. By far the best thermostat for ceramic heat lamps and heat mats.
