Reptile Specials heat mats are ideal for use in terrariums and racks. Reptile Specials heat mats work via infrared heating. The infrared heater heats the objects and substrate in the terrarium or rack in a safe and natural way without heating the air. This stimulates the natural behavior of your pet.

Installation & safety instructions:

• Always read the instructions before use.
• Make sure that 1/3 to 1/2 of the terrarium or rack is heated. This allows your pet to move from the cold to the warm side.
• The use of a thermostat is recommended for animals that are sensitive to a lot of heat.
• Never fold, cut, pierce or immerse the heat mats.
• Do not let multiple heat mats overlap.
• Do not use in the event of damage.
